Geek Whoa II
RFID is eminantly hackable. How hacakable? Enough that CC companies forced Mythbusters not to look into it. No surprise to me, but a well-told story nonetheless.
In the last few months there have been two lawsuits from RFID companies suing university researchers to try and get them to not talk about vulnerabilities they found in RFID cards. (One was the Boston tube system, the other was the London underground system). The industry's current stance seems to be "we know we're weak and the technology is fundamentally flawed, but SHUT UP ABOUT IT OR WE'LL SUE!".
