I aspire to be intelligent with moments of genius.
So far, I have managed awkward with moments of competence.
It's so great that Mattel is diversifying its line of paperweights.
So the video pretty much seems to show that it's not mathematically harder than the original - it's still a 3x3x3 that rotates the same way. The only thing that gets harder is the mechanical aspects due to the fact that it's not a regular polyhedron. Also I can see how perceptually it might be trickier because it takes longer to look at a square and say "that's big so it should go here" than to say "that's green so it goes here".That being said, my collection suddenly seems less adequate than it was before, so I totally need to get that the second it becomes available in the states.
