What was I looking for? The Pepsi bottle? The passenger drank from it near the beginning. If I hadn't known that it was from Pepsi, though, I wouldn't know what was being advertised.
The point of the commercial isn't to sell Pepsi, it is to raise Deaf awareness. I read about it before the superbowl. It is reaching out to an entire part of society which is routinely ignored by tv programming. Trust me, the deaf community was completely aware of what product was being sold. When was the last time you saw sign language on TV, besides that "very special episode" of a family sitcom?

Didn't see it, but that's a fun ad. Now, I'm not really sure what's being advertised, so I can't say that it's all that effective...

Great ad. BTW, this is an old joke in deaf culture... their equivalent of "Why did the chicken cross the road?" Great to see it acted out
