Making Gmail Available Offline - Actually, it already is.

There are reports that Google may take steps to provide access to gmail and google calendar offline. Fine, but don't go thinking that gmail is online only. For those of us with wireless devices and the gmail app, gmail already provides the ability to download email at one subway entrance, compose responses, and send them after you exit the train. (I know Verizon provides access in a of metros, but not all of our employers choose Verizon - it's more expensive compared to other business accounts).
