Drew, not Jim, that is. Drew Carey has been tapped to be the new Bob Barker. I think it is a good choice, but will likely be poo-pooed because Carey's "aw-shucks" persona will not fill out the gap left by papa Barker. Still, he has his own charisma that will age well. He'll have to bring up his own following, and I think he can do that.
More impressive still: he finalized the contract just in time to announce it on the Late Show with David Letterman. His publicist must have messed him/herself.
