Me? I just bought a Bruschi jersey this month, so color me surprised. That said, better to wear 54 in his one and only set of colors, than to wear, say, No. 4 in a rainbow. I suppose it is more a tribute jersey now and that is bittersweet.
Owning a jersey of a retired player who spent the majority, or all, of his career with one team means so much more than a jersey of a player who jumps from one place to the next. I've always respected Tedy Bruschi, especially after he came back from his stroke.
