Meet Willie Gary. (Miami Herald piece) (his website). A man whose website boasts 2 main features: (1) his bio, replete with photos of his 2 Bentleys and beach-front mansion; (2) his 737 jet, complete with a big "G" on the tail and every conceivable interior surface.He has won over $1B in lawsuits and claimed that his hourly rate is a whopping $11K/hr. I bill that in about a week, at a Wall Street firm, to the finance titans.
Oh, and near the very bottom of this post, like his bio and write-up, you'll find mention of some piddling contributions to colleges and the construction of the "Black Family Channel." It is what it says it is. Silly me. I didn't notice the resemblence between the Garys and the Waltons at first.

Yowza. When I first read the headline, I thought you were admiring expensive fashions...
Too bad he's flying around on an ANCIENT 737-200, with what look like the original engines. What's the point of an 18-karat gold sink if you're going to be plodding through the skys with loud, inefficient turbojets?
