FightMetric...getting some much-deserved attention

AOL Sports Fanhouse has posted a detailed interview with RG of FightMetric. Even if you never see a single MMA match, you should read this to get a perspective on what it means to create stats for a sport. There are so few sports left that aren't already stat driven that it is hard to imagine life without them. Still, in MMA that is the status quo. RG is working to evolve the sport into one where stats matter...but how that happens, and the recursive effect it may have on how the sport is practiced, is yet to be seen.
